The Hörmann group is Europe’s leading provider of doors, operators and loading technology. In 2009, Hörmann established its own subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates and is responsible for the entire region Middle East and Africa. In order to guarantee more flexibility with delivery time, the company started its own factory, mirroring the advanced manufacturing processes used in its factories in Germany. The new plant, based in the region’s renowned Jebel Ali Free Zone, can produce hinged doors, such as fire rated doors, security doors, internal doors and multipurpose doors, as per British and American Standards. In addition, a variety of rolling shutters, sectional doors and high speed doors are available from the local assembly line for faster delivery.
