The Warehouse was established in 1996 by interior designer Therese Foot at a time when furnishing choices in Dubai were limited and the oriental and colonial decor style was just reaching the region. Initially offering solid teak wood interior furniture, the range grew to include other furniture and handicraft products made from natural materials, such as bamboo, rattan, water hyacinth, and coconut.
